It’s no secret that most of the Hollywood elite hate Donald Trump. The awards show season has run with that theme for the past couple of years and the 2018 Grammy Awards was no exception.
Sunday night, host James Corden ran a segment that brought together music-industry stars such as Snoop Dogg, John Legend, and Cher to read excerpts of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” in a scathing mock audition for the show.
John Legend, who is a fierce Trump critic, read:
Trump won’t read anything. He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored.”
Cher, another Trump opponent, offered her interpretation:
His combover: the color was a product called Just for Men. The longer it was left on, the darker it got. Impatience resulted in Trump’s orange/blond hair color.”
The crowd went wild when none other than the woman who should be president, Hillary Clinton, joined in the fun by reading:
He had a longtime fear of being poisoned — one reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s. No one knew he was coming and the food was safely pre-made.”
After finishing her reading, James Corden entered the scene, and said, “That’s it — that’s the one!”
“You think so?” Clinton asked with a smile. “The Grammy’s in the bag?”
There’s no question that Trump will see this, and when he does he will lose his mind! We can’t wait for the Twitter meltdown.
